We are now looking for an occupational therapist for the psychiatric outpatient clinic in Skövde.

The clinic is part of the psychiatric services within Skaraborg Hospital. The unit provides specialized psychiatric care and consists of an outpatient clinic, day care, and a mobile team. We have about 65 people working in the unit with ten different professions, and together we provide a rich variety of competencies.

The facility has suitable and modern premises at Skaraborg Hospital Skövde, including a special rehabilitation department where our physiotherapists and occupational therapists work.

Responsibilities

Working as an occupational therapist in psychiatric outpatient care is a very varied and exciting job. The core of our operations is the meeting with the patient. You will work with everything from activity ability assessments to prescribing cognitive aids. You will work both individually with patients and in group therapy. As an occupational therapist with us, you will be part of one or more of our teams. Your role is to provide occupational therapy knowledge and support colleagues with assessments and recommendations for rehabilitation measures.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in similar work is an advantage. Experience and knowledge in insurance medicine are also advantageous.

You are a self-driven person who appreciates the benefits of good collaboration with colleagues and other partners. You put the patient's best interests at the center and are responsive to their needs. Since the position occasionally involves driving, a B driver's license is desired.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Other

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process. When filling a position in psychiatry, we will request an extract from the suspicion and criminal records. This request is handled by the employer.
